Hojatoleslam Ali Akbar Rashad, chief of Islamic Culture and Thought Research Center said an involvement of foreign publishers in Tehran Book Fair was fruitful in that it helps make the works and thoughts of other nations available to elites and men of pen in the hosting country.

 

The cultural activist believed that for an improvement of cultural relations with other nations, investments must be made in a movement of translation in which Iranian works and thoughts are rendered into major lingua francas.

 

Rashad hailed Tehran Book Fair as a club where different thoughts come into contact.
