The scientific, cultural, and publishing institute Kowsar from Turkey is participating in the 36th Tehran International Book Fair, showcasing its latest published works and books.
The head of the Kowsar Cultural and Publishing Institute’s booth told the Tehran Book Fair news desk, "We have been participating in the Tehran Book Fair for five years. At first, we only offered religious books, but in this year’s edition, we have added social books to our collection. Still, most of our books are centered around Shia Islam."
Emphasizing the importance of the book fair in strengthening cultural relations between Iran and Istanbul, he said, "Books are like the famous Iranian children’s poem, ‘A Kind Friend,’ and they play a significant role in cultural development and the transfer of history and traditions."
He added, "Culturally and socially, Iran and Turkey are quite close. Our presence here aims to bring the two nations closer and promote mutual understanding. We come here to learn and take what we learn back to our own country."
The 36th Tehran International Book Fair is being held from May 6 to May 16, 2025, under the slogan “Let’s Read for Iran,” at Imam Khomeini Mosalla. Alongside the in-person fair, a virtual section also allows book enthusiasts to purchase books online through the exhibition platform.
