Tayfur Esen, the head of Nar Istanbul Publishing House, says: I am consulting with the head of Iran's children's publishing department to increase cooperation.
Tayfur Esen, the head of Nar Istanbul Publishing House, says in an interview with the news headquarter of the 34th Tehran International Book Fair: I have attended Tehran International Book Fairs since 2006. I have had two main goals for attending the fair: one is to sell Turkish books in the exhibition and the second is to communicate with international publishers, including Iranian publishers.
He adds: Regarding the relationship with the publishers, I should say that we are one of the few publishers who buy the copyright of Iranian publishers' books and translate them into Turkish language.
The head of Nar Istanbul Publishing House says: Qonnava Madrasah Publishing House, Hopa Behrangi Publishing House and Burak Publishing House have purchased and published some Iranian books. In addition, we cooperate with Iranian publishers.
Esen says: Regarding cultural diplomacy, it should be said that the book has a cross-border feature.
He adds: In fact, the book is a work written by an educated person, and the author reflects his own experiences, humanity, character and culture of the country he lives in. When this book is published in other countries, it actually shows the culture and experiences of its own country to other nations
Esen says: When an author writes a book, he/she writes it not for himself/herseld and the people of his/her country, but for all the people of the world.
He adds: We have presented nearly 800 books in the book fair. What is important to us is the content of the book.
He says: As the head of the Children's Publishers Union in Turkey, I will consult with the head of Iran's children's publishing department about the cooperation and solidarity of publishers in the field of children.
