The president stated that the book should be easily available to everyone and said: Considering the country's facilities and the measures that have been taken, the publishers will soon hear good news about this.

According to the news headquarters of the 34th Tehran International Book Fair, Hojjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi visited various booths of the 34th Tehran International Book Fair while attending the Mosque of Imam Khomeini (RA) in Tehran.

Considering the importance of issues related to children and teenagers, the president started his visit to the hall of publishers for children and teenagers.

In a conversation with the publishers and activists of the book field, Raisi pointed out the works done by the authors and publishers of the children's and adolescent's field, emphasizing "avoidance of the dominance of translation over authorship in the publishing field."

The president considered children's and youth literature as one of the most important formats for conveying excellent concepts and added: "The quality of publishing works is as important as the content so that books attract children and teenagers."

The 34th Tehran International Book Fair with the slogan “the future is to be read” started on the 10th of May and will continue until the 20th of May 2023 in the Mosque of Imam Khomeini and simultaneously on ketab.ir.
