The Opening Ceremony of the Seoul International Book Fair / Iranian Stand to Receive a Warm Welcome by the Korean

Today (Jun, 20) morning, the Seoul International Book Fair was opened emphasizing on the theme "New Definition." The Iranian stand received a warm welcome by the Korean. 

According to a report by the Public Relations Department of the ICFI, ) the Seoul International Book Fair will be held in June 20 to June 24, 2018 at the Coex Convention Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. 32 countries and 480 publishing corporations attend this edition of the book fair. In view of the promotion of the relationships between South and North Korea, a separate hall was allocated to South Korea for showcasing North Korea books and photos to represent a proper picture of that country. 
Given the special theme selected for this edition of the book fair, all the activities are focused on providing a new book reading culture among people.
Based on the general agreements made by the Seoul International Book Fair in the 31st TIBF, it attends the Seoul Book Fair in a stand of 18 sq. m. area to showcase books in different areas like Iranology, children and young adults, art, contemporary literature and religion. 
Unveiling the two titles "The History of Iran and Persia" and "A Poem Collection by Iranian Renowned Poets" in Korean language, inviting the foreign publishers to attend the TIBF, signing an MoU between the two book fairs for more collaborations, introducing the fellowship grant for publishers, writers and translators active in the field of Persian Books as well as presentation of the Translation Grant Project are among the programs organized and implemented by the Iranian Stand.
