We Are Ready for Full Cooperation to Facilitate the Entry of Foreign Publishers

Alireza Mahmoudi, highlighting the active participation of foreign publishers in the Tehran International Book Fair, stated: "We are prepared for full cooperation to expand the international publishing industry. We collaborate extensively with the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in facilitating the entry of foreign authors and publishers and in sending domestic authors and publishers to international gatherings."
According to the news team of the 35th Tehran International Book Fair, Alireza Mahmoudi, the Director General of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited the book fair, welcomed by Ali Ramazani, the CEO of the House of Books and Literature of Iran. Mahmoudi was briefed on the participation of foreign publishers in this event.
Mahmoudi emphasized the significance and capacity of the book fair in Iran, saying: "I personally attend the book fair several times each year to carefully select the works I am interested in. The book fair holds great importance for Iranians, who strive not to overlook it in various political and social contexts."
He continued: "The Tehran Book Fair has an international aspect, and we work closely with the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to ensure the presence of foreign publishers and authors at this important cultural event and to foster appropriate interactions."
During this visit, the Deputy and Spokesperson of the 35th Tehran International Book Fair provided a comprehensive report on the presence of foreign publishers and authors. They also discussed the issues and challenges faced by foreign publishers, especially in consular affairs and visa acquisition, and offered suggestions for resolving these problems. The Director General of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs promised to follow up and assist in resolving these issues with the relevant authorities.
