The Participation of the Cultural and Research Institute of the Islamic Revolution at the Tehran International Book Fair

The booth of the International Affairs Division of the Cultural and Research Institute of the Islamic Revolution at the Tehran International Book Fair is showcasing 75 titles of the Supreme Leader's translated works in various languages, including Arabic, English, Urdu, Kurdish, Portuguese, Russian, Hausa, Swahili, Hindi, Greek, and Bengali.
 
Mohammad Bagher Izadi, the manager of the International Affairs booth at the Cultural and Research Institute of the Islamic Revolution, in an interview with the news team of the fair, stated: "The Tehran Book Fair is registered in the international event calendar and every year in May, publishers, authors, and audiences from various countries travel to Iran not only to participate in the fair but also to become acquainted with the culture and customs of the Iranian people."
 
Izadi also discussed the plans of this booth for expanding cultural relations: "Collaborating with publishers interested in the Islamic Revolution in translating and publishing the works of the Islamic Revolution Institute and the Supreme Leader's works is one of our objectives at the booth. Additionally, unveiling new books in specialized sessions with the presence of domestic and international experts and scholars to elucidate the literature of the revolution and the views of the Supreme Leader is another part of our program at the fair."
 
Regarding the cultural negotiations conducted during the fair, Izadi said: "We have had negotiations with Lebanon, Afghanistan, Venezuela, Kazakhstan, and Pakistan for cooperation in translation, printing, publishing, and distributing books, and signing cooperation agreements. We also unveiled books in collaboration with the Organization of Islamic Culture and Relations and the countries of Yemen and Palestine."
 
The purpose of participating in the Tehran International Book Fair, according to Izadi, is to translate and publish the books and statements of the Supreme Leader in various languages. He added: "So far, this division has successfully translated and published works in 21 different languages, and these works have been published and distributed in the target countries."
 
In this year's fair, in addition to presenting newly published books, four specialized sessions were held:
1. The session "Palestine from the Perspective of the Supreme Leader" along with the unveiling of the book "Palestine" in Urdu and Kurdish languages.
2. The session "Quran from the Perspective of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei" along with the unveiling of 10 Arabic interpretations of the Quran by him.
3. The session "Revisiting the Supreme Leader’s Letter to the Youth of Europe and America" along with the unveiling of the book "The Blood That Turned into Ruby" in Pashto and Swedish and also "The 250-Year-Old Human" in Urdu.
4. The unveiling of the book "Statements of the Supreme Leader on the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, the Atrocities of the Zionist Regime in Gaza, and the Resistance of the Palestinian People" in 7 languages: Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, English, French, Russian, and Spanish.
 
The active and dedicated participation of the Cultural and Research Institute of the Islamic Revolution in the Tehran International Book Fair demonstrates the institute's extensive efforts to promote the culture and ideas of the Islamic Revolution on a global scale.
 
The thirty-fifth period of the Tehran International Book Fair with the slogan "We Read, We Build" takes place in Imam Khomeini Mosalla from May 8 till May 18, and also online in ketab.ir .
