500 Iranian Books to be showcased in Vienna International Book Fair

The 17th Vienna International Book Fair will be held from 8th November to the 12th November 2017. The Islamic Republic of Iran will participate in the event with 500 books.  
Iran is going to have a stand of 36 sq. m. The Austrian Book Fair is held in the Vienna Exhibition Center. In the Iranian stand, 500 titles in different genres e.g. children and young adults, literature, poetry, art and Iranology, Holy Defense, religion, academic books as well as periodicals from academic centers will be showcased.   
Meetings with representatives from universities and scientific centers, introducing the Tehran International Book Fair in the form of a brochure and CD, a meeting with the head of the Vienna International Book Fair, a meeting with the head of the Austrian Publisher Association for mutual collaborations and a book launch event for the book “the Fortieth” – a collection of photos by Iranian photographers attended the Arbaeen Walking Ceremony- are among the programmes of the Iranian stand. 
Under the title of “The Long Night of Books,” the opening ceremony of this book fair will be held one day before the formal opening ceremony.
